Day 1
Bhubaneswar – Puri (70kms/1.30hrs drive)
Arrive & Assistance at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway station drive to Puri. On the way visit 64 Yogini Temple at Hirapur, Dhauli Ashoka rock edicts of 3rd Century BC & nearby Buddhist Peace Pagoda which attracts thousands of tourists every year, Pipiliappliqué work village & market & Raghurajpur Artisans village which is famous for palm leaf engraving, patta chitra paintings which depict rich odishan culture before history. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight at Puri.
Day 2
Puri -Excursion trip to Chilika lake at Satpada – Puri. (60Kms/1Hrs)
Post breakfast drive to Satapada (One end of Chilika Lake). It is the largest brackish water lake in Asia spreading over 1100 sqkms, famous for its migratory birds in winter and endangered Irrawaddy dolphins.Enjoy the motor boat ride to view the rare Irrawady dolphins, local birds & fishing culture etc. Back to Hotel & After fresh up visit to the Lord Jagannath temple by tuk tuk. It is One of the four holy dham in India (Non hindus are not allowed inside temple). Walk around Puri market for colourful photography. Overnight at Puri.
Day 3
Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar (120Kms/2 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast visit to Sun temple at Konark which is a world heritage site managed by UNESCO. The temple was built by King Narasimhadeva in the 13th century, it is counted among the 7 wonders of India, famous for its erotic works and sculptures on Life. It is also known as “Black Pagoda” to westerners). Afterwards visit to Chandrabhaga beach for relaxation. Over Night at Bhubaneswar.
Day 4
Bhubaneswar sightseeing
Post breakfast visit to ancient temples like, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar temple, Lingaraj (11th Century)-the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar (non-hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises). Later visit to Nandankanan zoo & Udayagiri, khandagiri caves meant for Jaina monastics dated to 1st century bc. OverNight at Bhubaneswar
